17/01799/REM Variation of Condition 8 (Hours of construction) of plannning permission 14/01855/FUL to permit weekend working SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS AND BANK HOLIDAYS 0730-1830

CONDITION 8 STATES THAT WORKS CAN ONLY TAKE PLACE MONDAY-FRIDAY 0730-1830 AND SATURDAYS 0800-1300. WE ARE BEHIND PROGRAMME DUE TO BAD WEATHER AND NEED TO GET BACK ON TRACK.
WE WOULD LIKE TO UNDERTAKE WEEKEND WORKING – SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS AND BANK HOLIDAYS 0730-1830

Condition 8 of the of the planning permission for this development restricts the working hours for the protection of the adjoining occupiers, in accordance with the relevant planning policy.

This condition was imposed for excellent reasons and the grounds for the present application are totally inadequate. In the Society’s view not only should permission be refused, but the condition should be strictly enforced.
