17/01853/FUL Demolition of existing house and erection of a three storey development comprising 9 x 2 bed apartments together with car parking, landscaping and associated amenity space.

101 College Road is a substantial modern house opposite the main entrance to Epsom College but it is proposed to demolish the house and erect a three-storey block of nine 2-bedroom flats, covering a substantially larger part of the site.

The Society believes this would be overdevelopment by reason of its bulk and height and the proportion of the site it would occupy, and fail to meet development management policies for the protection of local amenities. We do not therefore support this application.
