Demolition of existing house, garage and laundry block and erection of three-storey building accommodating, 9 x one bedroom flat units, and 3 x two bedroom terraced houses, with associated access road, car and cycle parking and landscaping.

Berridale is a substantial late Victorian 3 storey house previously use for bed-sitting accommodation by Rosebery Housing Association but now vacant and impracticable to refurbish for housing accommodation. The Association wish to redevelop the house and provide a terrace of three small houses to the rear of the site. A previous application (07/00282/FUL) was refused but allowed on appeal and renewed in July 2011.

The Society has reviewed this application but has no major objections.
