13/01222/FUL Care Home
The part of the Nescot site currently used for animal husbandry is now the subject of two planning applications: the first is for 91 houses, and the second for a care home for up to 150 people.
The housing application is for 91 houses, which is a much higher density than the surrounding area, and the Society has written to object about this and the traffic and other infrastructure implications. We also believe that the Council should consider the application solely on its own merits, and not, as argued by the Applicant, as enabling funding of other development on the wider Nescot site.
See our letter here.
The Care Home application leaves a few questions unanswered, but is overall a more imaginative and, we believe, acceptable proposal. Our letter can be found here.
