Outline application (access) for the demolition of the existing dwelling and the erection of a new block of 10 self-contained flat units and associated parking.

This house, which is the last of the series of Victorian buildings in this part of Alexandra Road, has been the subject of a number of applications, the last of which was dismissed on appeal, but only because of failure to secure appropriate financial contributions.

The Society believes the house should remain, but accept that this would be difficult to justify in view of the former appeal decisions. Any permission should however be subject to conditions regarding, among others, building height and protection of listed trees on this and neighbouring sites.
