22/01042/T56 Proposed Site Of Telecommunications Mast And Equipment – 15m high street pole and additional equipment cabinets.

Despite the clear need for additional telecommunications bandwidth, this application has created much antagonism amongst Langley Vale residents, largely due to the height of the proposed mast (nearly twice the height of the street lamps in the area) and inappropriate choice of location. If erected here the mast would be visually intrusive in the street scene over a wide area, and affect more than just the immediately adjacent residents.

The Society has therefore written to object and suggest a less intrusive location be preferred.
