Epsom & Ewell Borough Council are currently working on the preparation and production of a statutory planning policy document titled “Site Allocations Policies Development Plan Document”. This important planning document will identify site allocations and land use designations that will be used to guide and determine future planning applications. The Site Allocations Document will include a diverse range of topics such as the Borough’s Green Belt, Green Infrastructure, heritage assets, economic development opportunities, community infrastructure and transport improvements. These are grouped under the title “Other Sites” in order to differentiate this consultation from earlier exercises relating to new housing site allocation options.

A number of the proposed site allocations are entirely new, and others are revisions of existing allocations contained in the previous Epsom & Ewell Local Plan 2000.

The Council seeks residents’ views on the proposals, including ideas for any alternative approaches and/or site allocations to be considered.
