Following the withdrawal of the proposed Dementia Care Home, this application proposes that the land should be developed as the second phase of the housing site now known as Sycamore Gardens.

While this site is in principle suitable for housing, the Society has some concerns over density and the consequential impact on local infrastructure, and over the small amount of affordable housing proposed. We therefore recommended that both these matters should be considered carefully and the latter rectified before permission is granted.
