This application proposes the demolition of the present two-storey pitched roof house and the erection of a three-storey building containing seven two-bedroom affordable flats.
The Society seeks developments of good design which are sympathetic to the existing locale. The application seems to reflect neither of these aims, the new proposed building being a flat-roofed rectangular box in an area of two storey pitched roof houses.
The Society has thus recommended the application be refused.
