The conversion of Kings Lodge and Charles Stuart House under the General Permitted Development Order will provide 12 flats. The access is intended to provide for the six new flats at Kings Lodge.
However, the Society does not believe the projected traffic flow from 12 flats establishes a need for further access, particularly into what is already a narrow residential street with only a single footway for pedestrians.
We have written to suggest the application be refused as contradicting a number of established Core Strategy Policies. See our letter here.
